الأستاذة المساعدة سلين شيمشك آلكان أخصائية طب عيون بمستشفى كلية الطب في جامعة بيروني.

تخرجت من كلية الطب بجامعة كوجالي عام 2020، وأتمت تدريب اختصاص طب العيون في مستشفى الدكتور سعدي كونوك للتدريب والأبحاث بباكركوي، إسطنبول، عام 2024.

وعملت أخصائية طب عيون في مستشفى الدكتور سعدي كونوك للتدريب والأبحاث بباكركوي (2020 - 2026)، قبل أن تنضم إلى مستشفى جامعة بيروني عام 2026.

وتشمل اهتماماتها السريرية جراحة الساد والزرق واعتلال الشبكية عند الخدّج والحول وأمراض الشبكية الطبية.

وتتناول أبحاثها نتائج العدسات داخل العين وتصوير الزرق واعتلال الشبكية عند الخدّج، ولها أبحاث منشورة في دوريات دولية محكّمة وعروض في لقاءات علمية وطنية ودولية. وتحمل زمالة البورد الأوروبي لطب العيون (FEBO) وشهادة ICO في البصريات وتصحيح الإبصار والأجهزة. وهي عضو في الجمعية التركية لطب العيون (TOD).
